Acting

Alexis began acting in 2008 after a long career in the music business. She is very naturalistic, funny and enjoys characterful roles in comedy and drama. Alexis is perhaps best known for her TV acting work on BBC, ITV2, and SKY, but she has also appeared in films, such as the Anglo-Kosovan movie, ‘The Field Of Blackbirds’, theatre productions and several commercials.

‘Better Things’ on BBC/FX

Alexis was delighted to play the guest role of ‘Charlotte’ in Pamela Adlon’s fantastic US dramedy series, co-starring with Celia Imrie.

‘Almost Never’ on BBC/Disney

Alexis can currently be seen co-starring with Kimberly Wyatt, Ryan Early, Colin Hoult and the fantastic young cast in ‘Almost Never’.

‘Wannabe’ on BBC3

In 2018, Alexis bagged the recurring role of ‘Sarah The Brass’ in BBC’s One’s ‘Wannabe‘, about a group of ‘MumPop’ singers, brought to you by the award-winning team behind ‘People Just Do Nothing’. It was a fantastic role for Alexis as a former popstar herself! ‘Wannabe’ was co-written by Lily Brazier and Ben Murray.

‘Timewasters’ on ITV2

Alexis also appeared in the fab time-travelling comedy series, ‘Timewasters’ playing bolshy Vi.

‘Sick Note’ on SKY

Alexis had a great time appearing in a fab comedy role on SKY Atlantic’s ‘Sick Note, playing Officer Reilly alongside Nick Frost & Rupert Grint.

‘Bad Mother’ on Mumsnet

Alexis appeared as US businesswoman ‘Vicky’ in ‘Bad Mother’, Mumsnet’s first ever online comedy series, written by Susie Gilmour and directed by Matt Winn. It has already been featured in The Daily Mail and The Huffington Post and co-stars Kevin Bishop, Dolly Wells and Laura Patch.

Alexis’s other notable screen credits include: ‘Little Big Men’ for Channel 4, ‘Autopsy: The Last Days Of’ for ITV, pilots for BBC3 and Channel 4, online sketches for Hat Trick, several short films, a lead role in the world’s first iPhone drama, ‘Persona’ and leads in commercials for Domino’s, M&S, John Lewis, Mikado, Schweppes, The Fragrance Store and Niquitin. Stage credits include: ‘Before And After’ at The Arcola, ‘Over The Rainbow’ the musical national tour with Maureen Nolan, the lead in ‘Snow White’ at Dunstable Grove Theatre and a rather terrifying Lady Macbeth for British Touring Shakespeare.

Stand-Up Comedy

Alexis used to perform stand-up comedy in character as Aussie wannabe, Denise and was actually commissioned to make this pilot for Jamie Oliver’s Fresh One Productions as the hapless characte Stand Up Comedy Competitions: Finalist in Colchester New Comedian Of The Year, Semi-Finalist in The Funny Women Stand-Up Awards, Semi-Finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian Of The Year and shortlisted for ‘So You Think You Are Funny’.

Voice Work
