Alexis Strum is an actor, writer and performer (comedian, recording artist) from London who has been entertaining live audiences for over 20 years. Now a dab hand at making and performing in her own comedy sketches on socials, she is currently ‘blowing up on TikTok’ with her account which has already had over 5 million video views since she launched it at the start of 2023! Alexis is delighted to have been invited onto BBC Radio 4’s ‘Woman’s Hour’ and Ireland AM, as well as featured in The Sunday Times, Tne Independent and Metro, to talk about her crazy pop career and her album, ‘Cocoon’ which she re-released after 20 years due to a series of her tweets which went viral.
Her comedy content has caught the eye of Channel 4 comedy, The British Comedy Guide, Funny Women and Chortle. She is also a journalist, enjoying writing op-ed pieces for The Independent and Metro.
Alexis has had such a long, crazy and event-filled career in the industry that she wrote a comedy memoir about her experiences in the entertainment business called, ‘The Time I Almost…’, which then became a live story-telling night. She likes to think of herself as ‘the Forrest Gump of the Z list‘.
Alexis has also variously been a sort of spy, a songwriter, a nearly supermodel, a precocious child, a moody teen, a single mum on benefits and much much more… plus she bakes ridiculously good (fattening) brownies and is a total MILF.
